I still go to Lakeview. My teacher is Mr.McNeil. I only have 3 of the same people in my class as last year. We only have 2 recesses this year. Some of my friends are Wyatt, O'Ryan, Chase, Austin, Tanner, Mason, and James.
Mr. McNeil served in the army for 24 years. He is really really nice unless somebody does something they're not supposed to. He gives us 3 chances, then he gives us a talk in the pod (not that I was given that talk). He has a small library in the class and is very organized.
We've already changed the organization of the desks a few times because some of the people (not that any of them were me) were talking when they weren't supposed to. Usually we can at least whisper, but sometimes, not so much.
One of the other teachers is Mrs. Nelson. She calls her class the Jedi Academy. It has pictures of Yoda all over. She teaches history. We are singing "The 50 Nifty, United States," in her class. I am doing a Constitutional Convention in her class. The person I'm learning about is Daniel Jenifer. The Constitutional Convention is a wax museum. We each act out a delegate from the Constitutional Convention. First we act like a statue until somebody presses our button. Then we start raving on about our person from the Constitutional Convention.
The other teacher in the 5th grade pod is Mrs. Han. She teaches character education, PE, Health, and Writer's Workshop.
Our technology teacher is Mr. Filmore. We are learning how to type in the computer lab.
Our music teacher is Mrs. Garner. We are singing songs about history like "We The People."
Senora Lambson is our teacher for Spanish. She gave us stamp cards. There are certain things we can earn stamps with and if our card gets filled we can get a prize. If everybody gets a filled card, then we can have a pizza party.
The librarian is Mrs. Gonzalez. She got married last summer. Her name used to be Mrs. Fife. She says she'd rather stick with Mrs. Fife because it's getting really confusing. We are learning about the Dewey Decimal System.
Mr. McNeil teaches science. We are doing experiments in the class and we are going to see if dissolved sugar will evaporate with water. We will weigh sugar first, and then we will weigh sugar and water, subtract what sugar and water is from sugar and let the sugar and water sit for a few days while the water evaporates and see if the sugar evaporates with it.
All of the teachers teach math. Mrs. Han teaches 4th grade math, Mrs. Nelson teaches 5th grade math, and Mr. McNeil teaches 6th grade math. I'm in Mr. McNeil's math class. It's getting harder and harder.

Thank you Spencer! I really enjoyed hearing about all your classes. And I'm so glad to hear that Mr. McNeil only ever has to talk to those OTHER kids :-)
