Stage Crew!!!!!!!!!!!!
For a while now I have been practicing as stage crew for our school musical Aladdin Jr. . I was in charge of the lights for backstage and centerstage. I was also in charge of the curtain and moving things on and off of leftstage. It was hard to be in charge of all of that stuff but with th help of some characters I pulled it off.
The first performance was our best with hardly any glitches. The second went nearly a smoothly with only one or two really noticable glitches. In both plays I thought the scene friend like me was a favorite with everyone thanks to Caroline Cochran.
I think the best characters were the genie (Caroline Cochran), Iago (Jared Cuthbert), and Jafar (Andrew Peterson).
Now that the play is done I'm dissapointed. There's not a tinge of excitement about the end of it just plain sadness. Now I'm bored and have nothing to do after school not that it matters much seeing as school ends in two weeks.

Sand Dunes Campout
Friday and Saturday as a scout troop we went to the Little Sahara Sand Dunes on the opposite side of the Utah Lake as Proovo. It was a 1 hour andd 30 minute drive but man looking ahead it was way worth it considerig what was o come.
once we had unloaded jwe set up our tents faster than we ha ever done it before. Immeadiately all of the scouts ran straight for the sand dunes and before long a scout discovered just how fun it was to see how far you could jump of of a sand dune and before long the entire troop was doing it including me.
Honestly I didn't notice it start to get dark and as I kept going I got far better. It was insanely fun and as I climbed back up the slope every time. I got closer and closer to the right side of the dune where a large clup of bushes waited. Finally when I jumped of the dune I skidded straight into those bushes.
Josh Staker was the first to come to my aid which suprised me because we usually don't get along very well and I haven't always been entirely nice to him. I am now very grateful to him because without him it would have been several more minutes until I could have dragged myself out of this heap of wood. Of course my glasses fell off into the bushes and I'll admit that it was not the first time that we looked for my glasses that we found them even with the help of Spencer and Tyler Rosenhan.
No it was only an hour or 2 later that we found them with 2 scout masters. Finally Brother Webb just walked up and spotted them right away. After only 20 seconds of looking he found what 5 scouts couldn't find in an hour. I was on the verge of tears when Brother Webb spotted them looped around a branch.. Thanks Bro. Webb!
After a quick dinner of chicken noodle soup courtesy of mom our troop started up a huge debate on Star Trek vs. Star Wars. I don't even know what started it but it lasted a good 30 minutes. I sided with Star Wars but only because I think Darth Maul is awesome (The only reason he died was because it was 2 on 1). Besides the fire we ran on for minutes until we came to the conclusion that it didn't really matter whether time travel or the Force as better.
Finally at around 11:00 we went to bed.
We woke to the noise of a troop member named Micheal completely obsessed with Star Wars (I only like it) woke up and started jabbering to his tent mates about what light sabers meant what. The only reason that I got out of my mummy bag was because my tent mate ho usually sleeps in was getting up already. His name is Jared Shaw and he is awesome. Any way when we got out of the tent some one had already set up the fire and I had left my stove out from last night and so I started right up with a bowl of oatmeal. Many scouts went up to the dunes to see the sunrise but I was not among them. Lucky thing too. I was the only one left at camp and there was no one else to watch it.
After a while some people came back and I went farther into the sand dunes following the other scouts. We played many games on the way and we had even more fun there. On a huge sand dune we stopped and man the jumps we made off that dune. To both Dallin Smith and Josh Staker and Brayden Pay's credit they all did several flips off the heap of sand. Several people directed by Spencer Rosenhan made a pit where people could sit and even better where people could jump over and sometimes both.We had a great couple of hours doing that before we packed up and had lunch. Then with sand in our shoes sand in our hair sand in our ears and sand in our noses but with smiles on our faces we left those mounds of sand.

Pow-wow session #2
Well the 2nd session of pow-wow was yesterday. Two days ago I went to the animal hospital for my veterinary medicine pre-requisite. Besides the fact that two animals died while I was there it was an awesome experience. I got to witness a dog they had just performed surgery on to remove a tumor and a dog who had too have his tear ducts blown out. The latter was a beagle and let me just say I am never going to get one of those. It was whining like heck until it's owner took it away.
Anyway I finished all of the merit badges I started except personal management which requires 13 consequtive weeks of budgeting. I got all of my other ones done. Afterwards Sister Staker was kind enough to take me home and get me some lunch and ice cream. Thanks Sister Staker!

News Update!
I know it's been forever since I last wrote and I'm going to try to write more often. So........News update!
I am now in Boy Scouts and am First Class and scribe. Tonight is a Court of Honor and a Patrol leader council and I will be recording the meetings tonight and since it's my first Court of Honor as scribe I'm excited.
Skipping way back to summer I am now a deacon! I think it's great even though I've heard some other people at school talking about how stupid they think passing the sacrament, doing Fast Offerings, and cleaning trashes or getting up early to set up chairs is.
This is also my first year as a middle-schooler. I'm already most of the way through the year with only 2 weeks until the last quarter. I'm taking CTE, Science, Health, Pre-Algebra, Art, History, Creative Writing, and English.
Since last time I wrote we have even gotten a dog! Her name is Dahlia and she is very grumpy unless you know her well. She is a shi-tzu/poodle.
Well that pretty much sums up what I think is really important that you've missed.
